Hi! I’m Zoe
I really believe I can be someone who changes the world in a positive way, and that everyone else can be too.
I'm a student, hippie, older sister, bicycle rider, amateur website designer, loom knitter, novice seamstress, and a little bit eccentric.
I love public speaking, photography, writing and cooking. I'm fluent in English, Sarcasm and Bullshit.

So, I’ve picked up a new hobby recently, thanks to wandering around a cheapie store and deciding that I needed to buy a whole bunch of beautifully coloured embroidery floss. I knew that I had an embroidery hoop at home … Continue reading
After making a moderately successful mermaid tail on my looms for my niece Madison, I was asked by a family friend to make one as a gift for a friend of hers. My first commission, yay! However, I wanted to … Continue reading
I’m trying to recreate a family memory. I have a habit of recreating things from my past that I loved. I’m remembering one holiday when my dad took my sisters and I to the Sunshine Coast for a week and … Continue reading
My littlest brother is awesome. Beyond awesome. We rode into town this afternoon after school to visit the pet shop so he could buy a few more lizards for his new lizard set-up. Usually one of us rides the electric … Continue reading

Happy 18th birthday, my littlest sister. I thought of what I could give you today (besides my old iPhone!) that would help you through the next few years as a new adult. I came up with a few pieces of advice that I would, and would not, give you. Continue reading
I am loving making this recipe book! And I wanted to share it a bit more with you, so I’m giving away another free downloadable recipe. This one is not only an old favourite of mine, but it’s also a very popular one. The children I live with love it, my parents love it, and even my friends over at Mission Watoto love it! I hope you love it too… Continue reading
I have, for now anyway, finally caught up on all my uni assignments and am able to focus on my next big project. The book. Yipeeeee! Also eeeek! I’m so excited about being able to share my recipes with the world in such a fun way. Tomorrow I start working on the book in full scale, starting with a cover page, so I can show it off. Reading the paper on the train ride home this afternoon, I was a bit excited to read my horoscope (Which I know is just a bit of nonsense, but it’s fun too!)….. Continue reading
I never used to be a fan of dates, but they first won me over when mum put them into chocolate date logs. Now I’m loving them in my Grandma’s date loaf with yummy walnuts and deliciousness. Grandma tells me that the recipe is hundreds of years old and she passed it on to me this weekend. Continue reading
